Beginner Homeschool

Your child is now demonstrating their clearunderstanding of beginner skills on each event as wellas developing strength and flexibility.  They have now demonstrated an ability to follow directions related tosafety within the gym and on apparatuses.  Skills at theintermediate begin to progress in difficulty as well asrequire more focus and strength.  It is necessary for children to progress through beginner skills in order tobuild the fundamental strength needed to continue asafe and successful gymnastics experience.

The second level in our recreational program, this progressive class is aimed to help children develop better physical and social skills through the fundamentals of gymnastics.  Our goal at TFTC is to provide a safe and healthy environment for your children while supporting their social, emotional, and physical development.  Our staff and coaches are trained and educated through USA Gymnastics courses to ensure they are providing a structured and creative gymnastic experience.  Each class starts with a warmup followed by instructed rotations on each of the Olympic events - Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise, finishing with a cool down and reflections.  

This session is held during day time hours to accommodate the unique schedules of our homeschooling families.  

Registration: An annual registration fee of $48 is due at the time of sign up and each year on the anniversary month of your initial registration.  Tuition is due monthly and will be charged automatically on the first of every month to your card on file. If you prefer to pay in cash or check, you must make the payment before the 1st of the month. If at any time you need to drop a class, a 2 week notice is required.  You can drop a class online through your customer account.  No credits or refunds are issued.  Make-up tokens are not valid after you are no longer enrolled. 

Family discounts: The first member of the family is full price.  Additional children in the family receive a 10% discount.

Attire: Leotards or tight fitting clothing. No zippers/buttons, strings, jeans, shorts/bra combos, or loose clothing. Mid sections must be covered. Hair should be pulled back and secured away from the face. No dangling earrings or jewelry. Please leave valuables at home.  

Absences: Absences can be logged through your customer portal.  For an absence to be excused we must receive at least 3 hours notice.  Excused absences will receive a makeup token that can be used for an equivalent class or open gym.  Tokens expire 30 days from the date of issuance.
